For over 30 years, we have dedicated ourselfs to generate electricity in an economic and ecological way by using combined heating and power units driven by Natural Gas, Biogas and Special gases.
The company was established on 17.09.2013 with the new purpose of the acquisition of technical know-how of the former SCHMITT ENERTEC GmbH
R SCHMITT ENERTEC’s manufacturing facility in Mendig is centrally located at the intersection of Europe’s key transportation routes, which means our customers are proximately located hence allowing for easy communication.
Our 183.000 sqft site here in Mendig is where we produce gas engines, CHPs, Generator Sets and wood gasification plants.
On two test benches in parallel, the factory acceptance of the finished CHP´s is accomplished. One more test bed is dedicated to the research and development of our gas engines.
Combined with efficient decision-making, good value for money and the will to respond proactively to the demands of our customers; we produce compact power solutions for your company.
Engineering – design – production – and service. The advantages of CHP Technology from one source.
Documented safety through quality assurance and certification: - HPO approval, - Welding technical approval according to DIN 18800-7 Class B, - Specialist pursuant to § 19l WHG, - Correct transfer of identification of products with certificate of materials testing by manufacturers with material evidence to EN 10 204 / 2.1, 2.2, 2.3
R SCHMITT ENERTEC, your experienced partner for compact power solutions.
R SCHMITT ENERTEC Natural Gas Cogeneration (CHP) units are equipped with high-class engineering capability; hence allowing for prompt & easy installation due to their compact design, integrated control, switchboard and electrically ventilated noise protection enclosure.
3- way catalysts affects exhaust gas cleaning with naturally aspirated engines and oxidation catalysts with turbo-charged engines. For areas with more stringent environmental rules, turbocharged engines with 3-way catalyst and Emission gas return are also available.
The most effective noise protection option is allocated for the sets being used even in residential areas.
Structure- borne noise is eliminated by elastic mounting of the complete set and the vibration de- coupling of engine- generator unit towards the base frame.
The sets can be operated either with preference of electric power or of thermal power and also with the function for emergency power supply upon request.
The PLC control system allows for a fully automatic operation with the mains, and also remote control through telephone modem and via Internet access.
The oil level of the motor oil pan is controlled by contacts with topping up from the built in tank with sufficient volume to bridge the time gap within the service intervals.
Easy service and maintenance is granted by simply removable sidewall elements affecting free access to the engine and such short working periods.
Manufacturing quality and high availability guarantees the high quality performance of our cogeneration (CHP) sets.
Apart from providing compact units solution of up to 400 kW; R SCHMITT ENERTEC also offers individually designed plants ranging up to 2 MW size. They are usually packaged at the customer side.
R SCHMITT ENERTEC Biogas and Sewage gas cogeneration (CHP) units are equipped with high-class engineering capability; hence allowing for prompt & easy installation due to their compact design, integrated control, switchboard and electrically ventilated noise protection enclosure.
Spark ignited gas engines convert renewable fuels like Biogas, Digester gas and Wood gas into electrical and thermal energy. Engines use lean burn technology to achieve lowest nox emissions.
The use of fossil fuels as bi-fuel is not necessary.
